Staff Centre Shipmanagement acknowledges that Port State Control plays a vital role within the shipping industry ensuring that standard of safety and environmental protection. As Technical and Safety Managers we are working for greater sharing of inspection records and industry’s best practices between our vessels as we believe this will be beneficial for our continuous improvement.


The following PSC inspections were conducted on board of SCM vessels during the 1st Quarter of 2020:

4. m/v AVIONA − 02-February-2020 − Owendo, Gabon (Initial Inspection) − 0 Deficiencies;
5. m/v ARIZONA − 24-February-2020 – El Dekheila, Egypt (Initial Inspection) − 0 Deficiencies;
6. m/v ARVIKA − 27-February-2020 – Aliaga, Turkey (Initial Inspection) − 0 Deficiencies;
7. m/v IRON KOVDOR − 18-March-2020 – Kamsar, Guinea (Initial Inspection) − 0 Deficiencies;
